Directions to Gunston Manor:
- Take I95S Toward Richmond
- Take exit 163 toward VA-642/Lorton 0.3 mi
- Turn left at Lorton Rd (signs for Lorton) 0.4 mi

Freestyle Clinic for Triathletes and Open Water Swimmers
Freestyle Clinic for Triathletes and Open Water Swimmers Begins Sunday May 14 at American UniversityCurl Burke Masters is hosting a six session freestyle stroke clinic for triathletes and open water swimmers, starting Sunday, May 24 and ending Sunday, June 28. The clinic will focus primarily on improving freestyle stroke technique for all levels of swimmers - beginner, intermediate and advanced. All swimmers will have the opportunity to view their strokes through special feedback tools that will be made available for the clinic. Advanced techniques and workout training fundamentals to develop efficient open water swimming will be emphasized.
The classes will be held at Reeves Aquatic Center, located on the American University Campus from 6:00 - 7:30 pm on Sunday evenings.
Instruction will be led by ASCA Level Five (highest level) certified coach Mark Davin, and there will be a minimum 1:10 coach to swimmer ratio. The cost is $75 for the entire clinic.
Parking is free in the indoor parking garage located right next to the pool, which is located in the Jacob's Fitness Center. Registration also includes attendance at any or all of the Curl Burke Masters team weekend workouts at American University for no additional cost, which provides workouts from 5-6:30 pm on Sat evening and from 8-10 am on Sun mornings.
All clinic participants are required to be USMS registered ($37 annual fee) for insurance purposes. USMS registration forms will be available at the clinic.

CUBU MASTERS AT NATIONAL'S
CUBU Masters at Nationals!!!
Congratulations to the 19 athletes who participated at the 2008 USMS National Championship Meet in Austin, Texas!!! CUBU Masters placed 17th out of 157 teams. CUBU Masters Mixed 200 Medley Relay (Stacy Peterson, Justin Betts, Mark Liscinsky, and Liz Lauwaert) smashed the 25 and over age group National Record!!! Mark Liscinsky rewrote the Mens 25-29 age group record book by breaking 5 individual National records.
Way to go CUBU Masters!!!
