Welcome to Curl-Burke Masters at American University (AU). As CUBU Masters only location inside of the District, we have a dynamic, progressive program that serves competitive and fitness swimmers alike, as well as triathletes. Our swimmers range in age from 18 to 77 at this facility, and their abilities span from beginning swimmers to record holders.

The AU site has a beautiful, competitive 8 lane pool located at the Reeves Aquatic Center at 4400 Massachusetts Avenue, NW Washington DC. We have twelve coached workouts per week. In addition to tailoring workouts specifically for sprinters and mid-distance swimmers, several lanes and a structured workout are also oriented towards distance, open water and triathlete swimmers.

Prospective new swimmers may try out our program at AU for up to one week, free of charge. Please feel free to drop in at one or more of any of the scheduled workouts and meet the team and coaches.

AU FEES.

$180 quarterly for up to 12 workouts per week; pro-rating is possible within a calendar quarter. Full-time students receive a 50% discount. Swimmers who come to workout infrequently or irregularly may wish to purchase a 10-swim punchpass for $75..

Payment method is via credit card through our secure online registration system, Club Assistant, which can be accessed at: https://www.clubassistant.com/club/online_registration.cfm?c=1220. Current registration in U.S. Masters Swimming is also required for all members (insurance requirement). Club Assistant provides a link to USMS if you are not already registered.
